LZ-Grace and COVID19

To all Friends and Family of LZ-Grace Warriors Retreat:

First and most important, all humans, horses, dogs, goats, donkeys and cats are well and happy, and the animals (at least) are blissfully unaware of a human crisis.

While I am always grateful for our awesome crew who come to care for the horses and the barn, without fail, I am especially thankful that during this time, as we navigate the medical and economic concerns regarding COVID19, everyone here is on task and working hard to maintain stress free days and nights for the horses, goats, donkeys, dogs, barn cats and people staying here. I am also grateful to the retired and active Warriors who have come here daily to volunteer their muscle, skill and wisdom.

It is important to me that these grounds - all 38 acres - remain a place of solace and sanctuary; a place of sunshine and fresh air and peace. It is now a confirmed scientific fact that the "virus" cannot live or thrive in sunshine and fresh air, so it is my prayer that all of us remain safe and well and continue to find joy here.

We will continue to serve our Warriors and First Responders as well as continue to adhere to all health and safety rules and suggestions.

To that end, all have been notified that if they have a family member who is ill or has recently returned from an overseas trip or has been exposed to COVID19, they are to remain home and call me. We’ll "retreat" over the phone and do all we can to help the individual or family members until all are well again.

I have tremendous faith that God's grace will lead us through. Sending that same faith to all of you.

With grace and gratitude,
~Lynn
