LZ-GRACE RELOCATES TO FORT VALLEY VIRGINIA

LZ-GRACE RELOCATES TO FORT VALLEY VIRGINIA

1000 feet of Passage Creek runs through the new location of LZ-Grace. Passage Creek is a 38.5-mile-long tributary stream of the North Fork Shenandoah River in Fort Valley, Virginia. For most of its length it flows through a rural valley between the two spine-like ridges of Massanutten Mountain, then exits the valley by cutting a narrow gorge through the northeast end of the mountain. It is stocked annually with trout.

Rest Well, MPO Don Noha, VBPD Bomb Squad

Rest Well, MPO Don Noha, VBPD Bomb Squad

It is with great sadness that I share the news that our beloved LZ-Grace Advisory Board Member, MPO Don Noha, VBPD Bomb Squad, passed on May 19, 2022.

Don's kind ways and commitment to service to others led him to LZ-Grace. He was instrumental in refurbishing the Bunkhouse, provided plaques with scripture for every bunkhouse room door and was our visionary for the Hops Yard. In recent months he brought fellow Officers to the farm to begin a Peer Support Unit.

Rest well, my friend. You are so loved. Your kind ways and commitment to service for others will live on at LZ-Grace. Forever and Always.

Surrounding the love of your life, your family and fellow Officers, with Grace and love and praying God’s peace over all of you.

Hug my guy for me.

LZ-Grace and Trails of Purpose

We believe in the healing capabilities of equine partnerships. Horses, as prey animals, have mastered the skill of listening and sensing over the previous centuries. They are highly sensitive and incredibly honest. They cause their human partners to be open to trust and willing to work. Our program utilizes Equine Assisted Activities to grow the bond between horses and humans alike. Powerful growth can happen when we step along side each other and a horse.
